Why is Tom so into getting Jim out of that shed? Is it because he likes adventure so much and just likes stuff like this? Why does Tom want to take the long and hard way on getting Jim out? Wouldn't you want it to be fast and easy so that nobody finds out? Why didn't they want the other black man knowing that they knew Jim? Would he run and go tell Tom's Aunt then they would get in trouble?
A takeaway I had from chapter 34 was how both of them can come up with lies so quick to make it sound like they weren't lying. Also how Jim just played along when they said Jim didn't say anything so they wouldn't get in trouble.Another thing was how they came up with them plans to get Jim out so quick. Kinda like it was nothing to them.
A couple things I liked about chapter 34 was how Tom was helping him out on getting Jim out and they could go back on their journey. Another thing i liked was how they were messing with his Aunt Sally about how many of each thing she had so that they could steal it from them and use it to get Jim out of the cabin. I also liked how they were treating Jim when he was in the cabin like how they would come in and check on him twice a day and make sure he had enough food and all that good stuff. They kinda treated him like he was their son besides he didnt live in the same house as them.
