A question that I had about chapter 31 was why did that guy end up lying to Huck about where the farm was that Jim was at. Also, why did Huck go find the king? Why would he leave Jim back at the camp all alone? Why didn't Jim go with him to try and find the king? In chapter 33 Tom said he was going down the road to the other farm. Why wouldn't they say that Huck and Tom are brothers and they both came down instead of saying he was going on down to the next farm? Why did the real Tom kiss his aunt on the lips?
A takeaway that i got from chapter 32 was how Huck got lucky on going to the farm. For instance she was expecting one of her family members to come and he ended up saying he was that boy they were waiting up for. Also, how he just guesses on what to say and he says the right thing so they believe him. If he doesn't say the right thing he can cover it up fast.
One thing that I like from chapter 31 was how Huck gets them ideas so quick on what to do. Like when the guy was watching him he went to the treeline then got smart and snuck away into the trees to go to the farm. One thing that I didn't like was that he didnt send that letter to Jim's owner (Miss Watson) he should have just came out clean so Jim could go back to his family and quit getting into risky situations.
